Filmmakers Dana Rebeiro and Michael Jo Santos filmed and produced this documentary while taking two teenagers Anthony Jones and Bogie Conceicao on a weekend trip to Philadelphia and Baltimore in an attempt to unify them through art and simply taking them out of their element of New Bedford, Massachusetts. We took them to a Michael Franti concert where we were able to go back stage and meet/interview this famous artist. Anthony and Bogie are both Hip-Hop artists and live in rival neighborhoods. Dana and Michael wanted to reach them before they got to the age when groups start fighting.
Sadly a few years after this documentary was created Anthony Jones passed away due to a gunshot wound.
This film and page is dedicated to the memory of Anthony Jones and the anticipated success of Bogie “Bam” Conceicao.
